The business problem
StaffHeroes was a temporary-staffing startup serving events. Its portal supported registered staff receiving position offers from potential employers. The workflow continued beyond the offer: the staffing team followed assignments to check attendance and payment for the work.
The engagement
I worked on the project as part of the team delivering the portal. The application connected the offer process with the coordination needed to make temporary assignments work in practice.
The wider engagement also included collecting job-listing information for the startup's marketing team and supporting a website redesign.
Project history
StaffHeroes began as staffheroes.co.uk and later expanded to staffheroes.com. These are phases of the same project, not two unrelated portfolio entries.
What the project demonstrates
The useful architectural context is the operational workflow: an employer's offer, the worker's assignment and the staffing team's follow-up belong to one service process. Software needed to support that process alongside the public-facing website.
