These terms describe use of the website and its community features. They do not replace a separately agreed project contract or the terms applicable to a purchase. The Privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.

Articles, project examples and intellectual property

Articles and case studies provide general information and examples of past work. Technical approaches depend on context; review them against your own requirements before using them. Previous project outcomes are not a promise of identical results for another project.

You may browse and link to publicly available pages. Unless an item carries a separate licence or applicable law permits its use, ask before reproducing, redistributing or commercially reusing substantial website content. Client names, logos, screenshots and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights; their appearance here does not grant a licence or imply endorsement.

Code or downloads carrying an explicit licence are governed by that licence.

Accounts and Forum participation

Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure. Do not use someone else’s account or attempt to access information or systems without permission. Contact me if you suspect your account has been compromised.

Be constructive in discussions. Do not post spam, unlawful or abusive material, malicious code, confidential information, personal information without permission, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not disrupt the website or bypass its security controls.

You retain rights in your contributions. By posting, you permit the website to store and display the contribution and make the technical copies needed to operate the discussion, subject to its visibility settings. Only submit material you are entitled to share.

Posts may be moderated or removed, and access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse, legal requirements or security risks. Where practical, I will explain a restriction and consider a request for review. Email [email protected] about moderation or account removal. Public posts may have been quoted or copied by others.

Enquiries, project agreements and the Shop

Sending an enquiry starts a conversation. It does not, by itself, confirm a booking, price, delivery date or project engagement. Scope, deliverables, fees, responsibilities and the contracting party are agreed for the specific engagement.

References to Tarkmote describe collaboration and delivery capacity. They do not make Paul Loyanich and the separate Tarkmote companies interchangeable contracting parties.

Purchases through the Shop are subject to the seller identity, product or service description, price and purchase terms presented for that transaction. These website-use terms do not supply missing commercial terms or change an existing purchase agreement. Any mandatory consumer rights, including applicable cancellation and remedies, remain unaffected.

Please use the contact form for an initial description, not passwords, access keys, payment-card details or sensitive project datasets. A suitable channel can be agreed when more detailed information is needed.

Availability, external links and responsibility

I aim to keep the website useful and working, but pages and features may change or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. Information may need updating; please contact me if you find an error.

External links are provided for context. Third-party websites have their own content, availability and terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory rights available to you. Responsibility for an agreed professional engagement is addressed in its separate agreement, subject to applicable law.
